The department offers Undergraduate Programme of Bachelor of
Technology in Mechanical Engineering .
The department
also offers Postgraduate Programme in (i)
Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided
Manufacturing (ii) Thermal Engineering.
The department comprises of major areas viz.
Thermal Engineering, Design & Dynamics and
Production Engineering.
Moreover, a Part Time B. Tech Degree Course in
Mechanical Engineering has been started for
working professionals possessing Diploma in
Mech. Engg. and willing to pursue higher
education.
Various continuing Education programs with
request of various well known industries are
being organized time to time as and when
required.
Establishment
of National Thermal Insulation Testing
Laboratory is another major important milestone
achieved by the department.
