Chemical Engineering Department at the Institute of Technology under Faculty of Engineering and Technology is dynamic and evolving Department-producing graduates and post graduates who can function in today’s fast moving industrial market place. Students are given not only a sound technical background but also skills in problem solving, team working, communication and computer programming. They are trained in a variety of successful career opportunities both within and outside the chemical industry. Chemical Engineering Department at the Institute of Technology offers a semester pattern programme of study that normally leads to the degree of Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering, Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering (Environmental Process Design) and Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering. Programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute of Technology is recognized as Schedule – I Environmental Auditor by GPCB.
