Industry Academy Interaction Cell (IAI Cell) :
This cell is being established to provide close links with the pharmaceutical industries, contract research organizations (CROs) and other state and national level R & D organizations. This sort of interaction helps us to get suitable industrial training and placement for our graduates, and industry sponsored research projects for our faculty members. Participation of experts from pharmaceutical industry is regularly helping us in designing and updating the curriculum.

Placements & III Cell :
Industry Institution Interaction Cell (III Cell) is established to provide close links with pharmaceutical industries. The purpose of the cell is to find out the gap between need of the industry and end product of the institute. The cell is the bridge between the industry and the institute. One of the objectives is also to offer programmes fulfilling the needs of continuing education of the industrial personnel.

Industry institute interaction cell provides close links with industries. Placement of students for industry training/projects during summer has been benefiting students to a great extent.

We believe in developing programmes, which provides solutions to real world problems with a strong desire of forging innovative alliance with industry to achieve synergy. III Cell imparts benefits to all components like students, faculty, institute and industry by interacting closely with the industries. Students are exposed to the real world and learn the needs of their future career.

Industries are able to know recent developments and inventions in their fields and implement projects for technologically driven economy. The III Cell is governed by the Advisory Committee; headed by the Director as a Chairman, Head of the Department as members and Placement-cum-Training Officer as a Member Secretary.

Industry Institution Interaction Cell [III Cell] is headed by a full time Training & Placement Officer with the requisite staff. It is supported by branch coordinators working under the guidance of director and in association with respective heads of the departments. III Cell facilitates student visits to industries, industrial training, project placement & campus interviews.

Campus Placements
Campus interviews are organized by inviting various pharmaceutical companies for the placements of the students for jobs. It fulfills dual purposes, one for students securing their future career, and industry securing the best fresh talents available in the region.

Industries involvement in course curriculum design
In various academic bodies, there is adequate representation of industry expert which makes the curriculum rich and relevant to industries

Industrial Training for the Students
Training is the integral part of the study to acknowledge them for real world problems. Students are placed at various industries for 6 to 8 weeks and under supervision and guidance of respective industry personnel. The faculty carries out monitoring and evaluation regularly.

Continuing Education Cell (CE Cell) :
The activities of this cell include the organization of workshops, symposia and seminars for industrial scientists and academicians. This cell also interacts with agencies like ISTE, PCI, GUJCOST & ICMR etc. for organization of sponsored short term training programmes for teachers of pharmaceutical sciences and professional pharmacists.
