About Department
General Department was established in the year 1997 with the inception of Nirma Institute of Diploma Studies. The Department looks after the newly admitted students of 1st semester regarding their registration of courses and teaching of those courses. The department has qualified and highly experienced faculty members.
Courses offered
English, Communication Skills, Mathematics, Science, Applied Mechanics, Strength of Materials, CONM, Essentials of Environmental Science. The department is also looking after the teaching of Supplementary Courses.
Consultancy & Testing
General Department offers consultancy & testing in areas of environmental engineering, structural engineering, material testing etc.
