Short Term Training Programme (STTP)
Department had organized the STTP on Computer Aided Drawing in Chemical Engineering on October 21 – November 2, 2002 coordinated by Prof H R Shah, Head of Department and Shri N.H. Pandya, Lecturer.

Continuing Education Programme (CEP)
With a view to update the faculty members of the department, they are deputed to various continuing education programme organized by academic institutions and industries in the country. The faculty of this Department have attended about 15 different Short Term Training Programs (STTPS) and also undergone in plant training in about 8 industries as a part of continuing education program of the Institute.

Conferences/ Workshop
Department organized A One Day Workshop On Advanced Computational Techniques for Process Simulation on December 13, 2003 coordinated by Mr. K.D. Ghodasara & Mr. H.R. Patel.
Chemical Engineering Department, Institute of Diploma Studies, Nirma University, Ahmedabad organized three days In-house Training on “MATLAB for Engineers” during 29th –31st January 2004. 12 members from various departments of the Institute attended this training.
