Mrs. Parna Mukherjee
did her B.A. (Hons.) from St. Xavier’s College,
Ranchi with I Class. She did her LL.B. from
K.L.E. Law College, Bangalore University (2001).
Further she completed Post Graduate Diploma in
Environmental Law (PGDEL), from National Law
School, Bangalore (2003). She did her LL.M. in
Environmental Law, from the University School of
Law; Gujarat University (2006) and she was also
awarded two gold medals in LL. M for securing I
Class 1st. She was Legal and Executive Asst. in
CERC (Consumer Education and Research Centre),
Ahmedabad (2003-04).
Her areas of interest are
primarily Environmental Law, E-waste and CCS and
other contemporary environmental issues. She has
taught Family Laws, Laws of Contract II,
Administrative Law. In the current semester she will
be teaching Environmental Law (Sem IVth) Legal
Language & Legal Methods (Sem II) in 2010..She
presented a paper on “Consumer Dispute Adjudication
Mechanism In India: A Critical Analysis” Parna
Mukherjee & Madhuri Parikh in the 12th International
Consumer Law Conference organized by NALSAR,
Hyderabad. . This paper has been published in
Gujarat Law Reporter, Vol. 2009 (3), 31st October.
She has recently presented a paper on “CO2
Sequestration: Unsustainable Option! “ in
International Conference On Climate Change &
Sustainable Management of Natural Resources, TIMS-09
at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. |
