    Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) helps in creating a seamless opportunity to explore collaborative and reciprocity activities between the players. Institute of Technology, Nirma University in spite of being young understand the power of harnessing with peer institutions so as to multitude the strength of the university in all aspects. Institute of Technology, Nirma University has various MoU with various bodies- nationally and internationally.

Institute for Plasma ResearchThe MoU is related to the parallelization of scientific codes related to Molecular Dynamics and Turbulence and converting the scientific codes to run on open source systems.
InfosysVarious training programmes are conducted by Infosys for Faculty Members and students of the institute.
CiscoStudents are offered training for CCNA course. A batch of CCNA course already completed with 28 students and Planning to have more courses on CCNA in 2014
NVIDIA CorporationsNVIDIA has conferred recognition of CUDA Teaching Center to encourage CUDA based teaching at our University. In January 2014, we have also been awarded as NVIDIA Research Center, as a recognition of our CUDA based R&D work. We were active NVIDIA Research Center from Jan 2014 to Dec 2016.
Tata Consultancy ServicesThe MoU is for the conduction of various competitive exams managed by TCS, at our campus
Mitsubishi Electrical India Pvt. Ltd.The training programs for the academicians and/or personnel working in the industries will be planned under the same. Under this MoU company has given PLC trainer kits related software to Instrumentation and Control Engineering section.

Eco Carbon Pvt. Ltd, VisakhapatnamDepartment of Civil Engineering executed MoU with Eco Carbon Pvt. Ltd, Visakhapatnam to pursue the collaborative research related to No-Aggregate Concrete (NAC).
University of Southern California, USAThe MoU is related to the mutual benefit of both the Universities, to cooperate in education, to exchange faculty and students, and to collaborate in joint research. Many of our students have been deputed for project work at University of Southern California since 2011.
Indo-Swiss Building Energy Efficiency Project, New DelhiAn MoU is signed between Nirma University and BEEP (Building Energy Efficiency Project) for Capacity Building on Testing of Insulation Materials for Buildings under the Indo-Swiss Building Energy Efficiency Project, New Delhi. Under the Project, BEEP will contribute an amount of Swiss Franc 50000 or 80% of the value of procurement of testing equipment for the Laboratory apart from training and development of testing activity. BEEP is a bilateral cooperation project between the Ministry of Power (MOP), Govt of India and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation. The Bureau of Energy Effeciency (BEE) is the implementing agency on behalf of the MOP, Govt of India for this project.
Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), RoorkeeDepartment has signed MoU with Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee on 27 th June, 2016. As a part of MoU, students of M. Tech can be send to CBRI, Roorkee for their practical training as well as major project.
J K Lakshmi Cement Limited, KalolThe purpose of this instrument is to recognize the need for cooperation in information sharing / training opportunities for both JKLCL-KGU & NU and as well as in some instances, in joint programs for both entities in areas like Automation, Indigenization, Innovations, substitute for High cost imported Equipment/Technology with In-house developed solutions which may include input from various disciplines of Engineering like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Electronics, Information Technology etc. The MOU has been exchanged between Dr Alka Mahajan, Director, Institute of Technology, Nirma University and Mr. Naveen Kumar Sharma, Vice President, Project, J K Lakshmi Cement Limited.
