The Cell is set up with an aim to ensure equality and equal opportunities to the disadvantaged group through proper implementation of policies, skills and programmes. The Cell will work under the guidance of University level Advisory Committee and follow the framework and guidelines prepared by the Advisory Committee.

Functions of EOC at Institute Level:
  1. To Oversee/monitor various welfare schemes/programmes sponsored by the GOI/State Government, or any agency/organization as well as those devised by the University for the disadvantaged groups for their effective implementation
  2. To review the problems of different groups as mentioned under the functions of EOC and process the same at appropriate level
