Aim of the Association

  • The association wants to make the people technically stronger by sharing the knowledge to them.
  • The association  is organizing  different workshops and seminars on the latest technologies as well as organizing some Non-Technical Events Inter-Computer  Science and Engineering Department Students and Social Events,helping the social and technically weak people by giving them right knowledge.
Organization Overview

  • The club was established in 2001 by the Computer Science and Engineering Department ,Institute of Technology, Nirma University.
  • All the students of Computer Science and Engineering Department are the default member of the Association of Computer Engineering Students.

Our Events

We, the members of ACES club organized a social literacy campaign, named “Gyan Jyoti” to provide an avenue for unfortunate promising candidates from NGO’s like YUVA Unstoppable to grasp and practice computer and IT related technical skills.

On the Technical side, we organized the lecture series on various topics related to computer science like “Artificial Intelligence”, “Parallel Computing and CUDA programming”, “Delay Tolerant Network - Network Science” and “Geographic Information System” for the students of CE, IT and MCA students by the faculties of Nirma University. 

On the other hand we organized the Non-Technical Events too like “Pict-O-Mania”, “Quiz-O-Mania” and “Art Mela” on the occasion of the Foundation Day,2013. Recently we organized “221B to Hogwarts” which was a quiz on the well-known characters of youth “Sherlock Holmes” and “Harry Potter” and given cash prize to winners and runners up.

The students of every fields actively participated in our events.


We, the members of the ACES club organized the workshops on the following topics to enrich their skills and to give our students a good insight about technical knowledge with providing a better platform for their interests.

NU-TECH 2014 (14-16th Feb 2014)
(One of the biggest tech fest of Gujarat organized by Nirma University)

“NU Tech” is a conclave for enthusiastic minds and strives for an intellectual competition on a national level stage. NU-Tech was born, an idea, a-hope- a vision. NU-Tech seeks to bring together students from all disciplines of engineering. Students from every sphere of engineering meet and connect at such a platform, while enhancing their skills in the multiple opportunities given to them in the form of events. The technical, non-technical, management events as well as the workshops and seminars that are in store for them allow the students a chance at sharpening their wits and testing themselves against the best in the nation.

This time the theme of NU-TECH was “PARADOX OF TECHNOLOGY”.
