Open House seminar for Career Prosects in Pharmacy is organized on 20th May, 2017 (Saturday) at Institute of Pharamcy, Nirma University.

Pharmacy Aspirants (i.e. 12th Science students for B.Pharm admission, and B.Pharm. Students for M.Pharm. admission) with their Parents are invited for attending the Seminar. Entry restristed to Registered candidates only.

Proudly announcing that Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University received Ranked #16 as Top Pharmacy Institute at National Level by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Ranking by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India.

National Ranking announced 3rd April, 2017. As per NIRF INDIA Ranking 2017, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University is Topper among Pharmacy Institutes of Gujarat State.

Dr. Shital Panchal (Assistant professor, Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University) received Inter-disciplinary Research Project entitled "Epidemiology of Anemia in Pre-school Tribal Children of Eastern Gujarat with Reference to Etiology, Pathophysiology and Nutritional Impact" worth of Rs 18,60,610 /- for one year  from Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi. 


Dr Sarat Dalai (Director, Institute of Science), Ar. Sharad Panchal (Institute of Architecture and Planning), Dr. Charmy Kothari (Institute of Pharmacy). Dr. Vijay Kothari (Institute of Science), Dr. Umang Mishra (Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Gujarat, Gandhinagar) are Co-investigators for the project. 

This is first government funded interdisciplinary research project of Nirma University which is in collaboration with Health Department of Govt. of Gujarat.

Prof. Priti Mehta (Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University) received Inter-disciplinary Research Project entitled 'Evaluation of Radioprotective potential of Medicinally important Indian Bamboo Plants in Cancer' worth of Rs 42,12,250 from Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. 
Dr Sonal Bakshi (Institute of Science) and Dr Snehal Patel (Institute of Pharmacy) are Co-investigators of the project. 
This is first government funded interdisciplinary research project of Nirma University.
