Three M.Pharm. Thesis (Batch 2013 - 2015) from Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University have been shortlisted (Selection in Top 5) at National Level for 'The PharmInnova Award' organized by Rajnibhai V. Patel Trust under the Patronage of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India; and sponsored by Troikaa Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Nirma University and its constituent Institutes have been re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with 'A' Grade. The achievement once again manifests that the University is committed to Quality Teaching-Learning and Research and is accomplishing the promised. There is a continuous attempt to meet the standards of quality in terms of its educational practises and outcomes, research, teaching-learning, evaluation, administrative processes and structure and student services.

The University, at every stage, has believed in self-assessment and self-evaluation with the objective to re-confirm the direction, thrust and momentum with which we move ahead towards achieving our Vision and Mission.

One week Orientation Program for New Entrants of B.Pharm., M.Pharm. & M.Sc.(Cosmetic Technology). Mr. Pankaj Mahabaleshwarkar - President (Technical Operations, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd) was invited as Chief Guest for inaugural function. Dr. Anup K. Singh (Director General, Nirma University) had preside over the function.

NIPSA organized "Spectra 2015" for the celebration of the 69th Independence Day of India. The theme of all the events was 'Patriotism and Freedom'. More than 110 students participated in the event. The event was orgnized in association with Arts & Craft Club of Institute.

Dr. Sanjeev Acharya and Dr. Niyati Acharya received the Research Grant worth Rs. 45.5 Lacs from Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India for duration of Three years for the Research Project entitled "Glutathione Appended Polymeric Nanoconstructs of Asiatic Acid for Efficacious Neuroprotection against Alzheimer's disease".

Patel - Pharma Innova Award - Best Thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences"
