Selection Process: Basis of Merit for Admission

The basis of preparation of merit for admission is given below for the respective categories of admission:

If two or more candidates have the same aggregate percentage score for 12th Standard examination, (i.e. HSC or equivalent), then the following scheme will be adopted to determine the merit for admission.

  1. The marks obtained in the paper of English will be considered. The candidate with HIGHER score in paper of English will be given priority. If it is also equal then;
  2. The Date of Birth is to be considered. In such cases, the younger candidate, i.e. whose date of birth is later than the other will be given priority.
