The program is intended for students and researchers in the field of electrical engineering in general and electrical power system in specific. The program is  designed with a focus to simplify power system  analysis and offer visualization to concepts using simulations. The course objective is to highlight key points in steady and transient state power system analysis employing standard test systems. A blend of  theory, mathematical aspects and simulations during  sessions shall offer good insight to power system  domain learners. Apart from conventional power  system, an incorporation of FACTS devices and  renewable sources in simulations shall be discussed  during class sessions and touched upon in hands – on sessions.
